Wetting My Web Appetite: P2P Snacks - Issue #4
Hello, my friends!
You may have noticed this issue is out later than normal…my goal is to produce these for release around the same time content is released on Wednesdays, but I decided to hold off because the Web App came out today as well. Before we get into the good stuff, if you Snackers would do me a favor and mark this as important in your inbox or add the email to your contacts, I’d greatly appreciate it. It seems that many mail apps are still trying to decipher whether this newsletter is worthy of anything beyond a spam filter. I think it is :)
For years, I’ve felt eager anticipation and borderline stress this week of the year…the rush to get access, to create content, to get ahead…but this year is different. I don’t feel any rush or anxiety. I feel very much at peace and that is a credit to EA. FIFA 22 let me know, without question, I will have plenty of opportunities to use all of the players that I want and earn copious amounts of coins over the cycle of the game. I don’t need the web app to enjoy 23. Instead, I will enjoy a bit of time on the web app because, like you, I’m dying to be disappointed by the cards I get from my loyalty packs. As devoted FUT fans, we can all be masochists at times.
So how did my Path 2 Power start for 23? Exactly as you’d expect. Take a look at my top players from these juicy packs…
The BIG difference this year is we should be able to add FIFA points via the web app. That’s a MAJOR change, and guess what...I will add FIFA points.
But Japes, is it really a Path 2 Power?!
I believe it’s about the journey and the experience, not the destination. For me, I enjoy the journey more if, shall we say, I’m glamping and not camping.
My advice, do what feels good…
If you want to buy points and enjoy the quick dopamine hit of opening packs, do it.
If you don’t think EA deserves another dime and plan to go into full grind mode, do it.
We should be a lot less quick to judge how others spend their time & money.
Next week, I’ll divulge what a week of web app enjoyment has turned into for my squad, but for now, I’ll leave with you a few pieces of advice that have served me well on the web app over the years.
Focus on a specific league and learn the value of every rare gold card. This will allow you to instantly recognize a deal and act confidently.
Prices usually crash when the full game drops and then rise again as supply floods the market.
Only sell high-value cards if you are a good trader and plan to spend a lot of time aggressively trading.
Have a plan for your coins. If you are going to trade, make sure you have a plan for how you are going to use your coins at all times. There is nothing worse than sitting on a decent coin total and watching as your buying power decreases because you were paralyzed by indecision.

Good luck & may the FIFA gods be with you all.
